Nerf Raider Mod Guide

What you want to do first,is to open up your raider,what your raider's internals should look like is this,or not you must have messed around with 'em.

Now remove the spring,the catch and the trigger,these are the pieces that will come flying out after a while.

Now remove the piece that holds the plunger in place.it is held by two screws so unscrew it and pry it out (it has 2 pieces that holds the plunger so remove either one of them)

Remove the plunger tube assembly.

knock out the pin that holds the bolt sled to the plunger tube with a micro philips head screwdriver

Leave the bolt sled and the pin aside and focus on the plunger tube and plunger.

You'll notice that there's a small hole on the plunger tube,that hole releases air when the dart is fired,and we don't want it.

So we will fix it with a couple wraps of e-tape

Now remove the plunger and you'll find this part at the end of the plunger tube.(it will be greasy,so be careful) Now, use a micro flathead screwdriver and remove the o-ring,wrap a few rounds of teflon tape on it and put the o-ring back. Try not to touch to much of the grease.

On the other side of the shell,you'll find this piece.Remove the two screws.

Now back to the bolt sled,you would find a nub on the top of it.remove it by cutting,it is the lock of the jam door.

Grab you plunger and cut a foam piece about the diameter of a penny and glue it to the bottom.This will act as the plunger padding.

Now assemble everything.Lost?repeat the first few steps,but the opposite way. Quick Tip*Have a recon spring lying around? swap it with the raider spring. Just close everything back together and enjoy!
